Welcome to Millbank

Meet Rhiannon

I have worked with all types of animals from farm, exotics, small and domestic. I enjoy walking dogs and have had a lot of experience with a variety of dog breeds.

I have an Nd in Animal Care, HND in Animal Care, Science and Business Management, an Honours Degree in Animal Management, Health and Welfare and PGCE. I then went on to teaching Animal Studies for a further 10 years.

My passion has always been animals.

An enclosed area where you can let your dogs run free! Safe in the knowledge that they cannot escape.

Cat Boarding

We have a 23 unit cattery where cats have individual units and heated sleeping area. They have a personal exercise area with a ladder and access to toys. They are given regular attention and we are able to administer medication if required.

Dog Spa

Give your pooch a pamper. We offer a 3 hour spa including various treatments with the main perk being your dog will come home relaxed and smelling beautiful!

Dog Walking

We will walk your dog in a safe and fun environment, giving them the exercise and mental stimulation they need. We can collect your dog from your home, walk them and return them back to you.

Hydrotherapy Treadmill

Our hydro bath helps dogs who suffer with joint issues, digestive problems, low metabolism, poor muscle tone, and aids general relaxation! It can also help as part of rehabilitation.

Doggy Teeth Cleaning

Our non-intrusive teeth cleaning saves you the worry of trying to brush your dog’s teeth. By cleaning your dog’s teeth, we remove the build up of tartar, bacteria and germs.

Book Online

We arrange a Meet and Greet where you bring your dogs to visit us, and we can discuss all your requirements. We have Meet and Greets on a Tuesday evening and Sunday afternoon. Please contact us to arrange a time for Meet and Greet. We will need to receive a copy of your vaccination record prior to the Meet and Greet. This can be done via Facebook Messenger (we only take fully vaccinated dogs for the safety of all our customer’s dogs).

  • Seth loves his stays at MillBank. Rhiannon and her family taker care of him as if he were one of their own. Seth simply would not survive in a kennel and Rhiannon's home boarding is a perfect way for us to relax when we need to be away from him. We leave knowing he is safe and well looked after. He has so much fun, loads of beach walks and plays in their garden with his new found friends. Rhiannon also keeps us updated daily with plenty of photos (which we really love having) of his antics. Seth is raw fed which isn't a problem at all and his diva dog needs are all met.

  • Archie our Cavachon had a lovely time staying with Rhiannon, he had lots of nice walks on the beach and from the pictures, Rhiannon sent each day, we could see that he was enjoying himself with his new friends, especially Lloyd and Pippin. It was nice to be able to relax knowing that he was being well looked after while we were away. Archie is looking forward to his next visit there!

If you have any questions please send a text message or use Facebook messenger to receive the quickest response. We can answer the phone during business hours (8am to 8pm) to discuss any questions, but please keep in mind we will be out walking and caring for the dogs and cats so cannot always answer, or stay on the phone for long periods of time.

 

Baron Hill is located on the Cymyran Road in Llanfair yn Newbwll. From the A55 leave at the RAF Valley junction and follow signs into Caergeiliog. Once into the village, look for a round toll house on your left, and turn left there, onto Cymyran Road (signposted Llanfair yn Newbwll). Baron Hill is approximately 3/4 mile on your right hand side, the first property you come to after the railway bridge.
